RUB Bauwesen CompEng

On occasion of Tet, the Vietnamese new year season, the CompEng Coordination Office organized a small festivity for the members of the VGU-Flying Faculty and CompEng friends. To create an appropriate framework, the CompEng team spared DSC_0036no efforts and costs to bring the whole event to perfection with far eastern decoration, ornamentation, Asian music and culturally-typical delectabilities. To top it all off, rice liquor and tiger beer were served as typical Vietnamese beverages.

Course Director Prof. Dr. rer. nat. K. Hackl opened the opulent buffet with a short welcome speech. When all participants had supplied themselves with food and drinks, Prof. Dr. Hackls gave an informal presentation on the current situation at VGU. Parts of the young university will soon move from the city centre of Ho-Chi-Minh City to a new campus, and Prof. Hackl provided the latest information on these new developments. His presentation also included some exciting impressions of the future campus, which lead to many enthusiastic discussions between the guests.
